A hero full of pride
His real name is Jaka Umbaran. Son of Panembahan Senopati who was born to Ki Ageng Giring's daughter's wife. Babad Tanah Jawi relates, Ki Ageng Giring found a magical coconut which, if the water was drunk until it was finished in one gulp, would cause the drinker to lower the kings of Java. Accidentally the coconut water was consumed by Ki Ageng Pamanahan who visited Giring in thirst. Ki Ageng Pamanahan felt guilty after knowing the efficacy of the magic coconut water. He then married his son, namely Sutawijaya with Ki Ageng Giring's daughter. But because his wife was ugly, Sutawijaya returned to Mataram and left him in a state of containing. Putri Giring later gave birth to Jaka Umbaran (diumbar in Javanese meaning "abandoned"). After growing up, Jaka Umbaran went to Mataram to get recognition from his father.
